Simpson Strong-Tie W1 Wedge

The W1 is a required component of the Simpson Strong-Tie WT wedge form tie that is sold separately. The wedge tie (WT), a form tie that secures concrete forms in place while the concrete is poured, requires a wedge on each end to hold the form boards in place. These wedges are designed for easy installation into and removal from the provided slots.

• Designed and manufactured to work specifically with the WT
• Tapered design accommodates expansion and contraction of wood as a result of moisture content
• One size of W1 fits both composite and lumber WT models
• The WT's 5/8" wide formed "V" design for rigidity allows accurate form spacing and support
• Use two of these 3 1/2" long wedges for each WT tie
