1. About these terms
This website is operated by HNT Mart Ltd., doing business as HNT Tools ("HNT Tools", "we", "us"), 108-20110 Lougheed Hwy, Maple Ridge, BC V2X 2P7. These Terms of Service apply to anyone who browses this website, creates an account, requests a quote, pays an invoice or places an order with us online. By using the website you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund Policy are part of these terms.
2. Your account
Please give us accurate, current information when you create an account or place an order, and keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Let us know right away if you think someone else has used it.
3. Trade accounts
Trade pricing, credit terms and trade delivery are available only to business customers we have approved. We may approve or decline an application, change trade pricing, or suspend or close a trade account at our discretion. Credit terms are governed by your signed credit application and its terms and conditions; if they conflict with these terms on a credit matter, the credit application controls. Trade pricing shown when you are signed in is for your business only.
4. Products and product information
We work to keep product descriptions, specifications and photos accurate, but they come largely from manufacturers and may contain errors or change without notice. Photos are for illustration and the product you receive may differ slightly in packaging or appearance. Always read and follow the manufacturer's instructions, safety warnings and applicable codes when using any product, and use the right protective equipment. If you are not sure a product suits your application, contact us before you buy.
5. Prices and availability
Prices are in Canadian dollars and do not include GST, PST or other applicable taxes, which are added at checkout. Prices, promotions and stock levels can change without notice, and online stock may differ from what is on the shelf in our store. We may limit quantities. If a product is listed at the wrong price or with the wrong information, we may correct the error and cancel any affected order, even after it has been placed, and we will refund any amount you paid.
6. Orders
Your order confirmation email means we received your order, not that we have accepted it. We accept your order when we ship it or tell you it is ready for pickup or delivery. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable, if there is a pricing error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel, we will refund what you paid in full.
7. Payment
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. When you pay an invoice through our Pay an Invoice page, please list every invoice number you are paying so we can apply the payment correctly. Paying online does not change the payment terms on your account.
8. Quotes
Quotes requested through our website are based on the information you provide and are valid for the period stated on the quote. A quoted price may change if quantities, specifications or supplier costs change before you place your order.
9. Shipping, delivery and pickup
Shipping, delivery and pickup options are described in our Shipping Policy. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Heavy, oversized or freight items may need a separate shipping quote. If extra freight charges apply to your order, we will contact you before it ships, and you can choose to pay the extra charge, switch to pickup, or cancel the order for a full refund.
10. Returns and refunds
Returns and refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
11. Warranties
Products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty where one is provided, and we will help you with warranty claims for products you bought from us. Except for the manufacturer's warranty and any warranties that cannot be excluded by law, we do not give any other warranties about the products or this website. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, HNT Tools is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including lost profits, job delays, downtime or labour costs, arising from your use of this website or any product you buy from us. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product.
13. Using this website
You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its security or operation, or to copy or collect its content or pricing by automated means. The text, photos, graphics and layout of this website belong to HNT Tools or our suppliers. Brand names and logos belong to their respective owners and are used to identify the products we sell.
14. Third-party services and links
Our store runs on Shopify, and payments are processed by third-party payment providers. This website may link to other websites, such as manufacturer pages. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.
15. Privacy
How we collect and use your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of British Columbia.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this website, with its "last updated" date, applies to any order placed after that date.
