The DOSCZ extension kit is a hot-dip galvanized steel spacer plate to complement the DOSCZ-KT1 connector in certain applications where a 1" further offset is required for installing a ledger board. This extension kit is a tested, engineered solution that offsets the beam from the concrete to create a space that helps prevent water buildup and potential rot or corrosion. The kit comes with a 1"-thick hot-dipped galvanized steel plate as well as the required longer (2) 1/2" x 5" Titen HD® screw anchors.
