Simpson Strong-Tie ARC Adhesive Retaining Caps

ARC adhesive retaining caps make overhead and horizontal anchor installations easier by preventing the adhesive from running out of the hole. They also center the rod or rebar dowel in the hole, making them ideal for applications where precise anchor placement is required. Adhesive retaining caps are not designed to support the weight of the anchor, so it’s advisable in overhead installations to provide an adequate means of anchor support during cure time. ARC retaining caps may be used in conjunction with our Piston Plug Delivery System.

• The slit in the cap allows the insert to pass through while containing the adhesive in the hole
• The cap centers the threaded rod or rebar dowel during insertion into the drilled hole
• Designed for overhead, upwardly inclined and horizontal orientations as well as deep embedments
• Works with any Simpson Strong-Tie® anchoring adhesive
